Kristian Benton is dedicated to finding the perfect didgeridoo to suit each and every players needs. Kristian's didgeridoos are now in high demand through out the world by professional players and collectors. His strong appreciation of Aboriginal culture began at an early age stemming from his indigenous roots. Kristian Benton is a proud descendant of the Ngemba tribe of Brewarrina which is located in north-western NSW.

Kristian's talent for finding and making concert quality instruments goes side by side with his expertise in playing them. This is an unbeatable combination and a valuable asset as this allows him to make didgeridoos to very specific standards for his own satisfaction and enjoyment, through this he is able to refine both his skill in crafting fine instruments and also his playing ability. Not many Yidaki crafters can claim to excel in both areas.

A chlorine dioxide mill proposal is planned for construction on the mouth of the Tamar River Estuary in northern Tasmania, Australia. The estuary meets the sea just 10 km from a stretch of coast that is home to one of the best surfing locations in northern Tasmania, where numerous point breaks dot a beautiful and pristine landscape. The waves on this coast are considered by many surfers to be some of the best in Tasmania. If the mill goes in, without further modifications to protect the environment, the water will likely become too toxic to swim in or surf in.
